Open Studio Three
Our Open Studio classes are dynamic learning environments allowing artists to develop their creative skills and art activities.
The art tutors and therapists encourage the artists to be self-directed, to explore personally meaningful themes and content in their work and develop their own unique style.
You’ll be encouraged to discover new ways of expressing yourself, introduced to new media – whether its paint, charcoal, pens or print making – and to tell your own story using visual imagery.
The Open Studio group environment is a friendly and supportive community, a mixture of creativity and therapeutic outcomes.
Artists are encouraged to share the ideas that have inspired their artworks. This encourages interaction and builds confidence, communication skills and social relationships.
Throughout the year, artists have the opportunity to have their work selected for public exhibition.
