Aout MOA – Māpura Online Artists
Māpura Studios has an online programme for disabled artists – MOA.
It doesn’t matter where you live in Aotearoa New Zealand, you could be a Māpura Online Artist. The MOA programmes are hosted by professional Māpura tutors on Zoom, delivering creative classes to diverse communities and individuals, and supporting them in developing their art practice.
When you enrol in a MOA programme, you’ll be creating art and discussing ideas with a group of like-minded people, in a safe and fun environment.
All the MOA classes are free, all you pay for are the art materials if you need them.
Who can enrol
MOA has been designed for artists who are among New Zealand’s most vulnerable, to connect with each other and form an online community of disabled artists.
It is ideal for anyone who can’t access our Morningside studio or satellite classes. Participants from all around the country can enrol in our MOA programmes
