She likes creating everything and anything, but drawing is her most favourite, the way she interprets the world creates her unique drawings. It is her most favourite, relaxing and enjoyable thing to do.

The art tutors and therapists encourage the artists to be self-directed, to explore personally meaningful themes and content in their work and develop their own unique style.
Avatar always finds everyday things at home to draw and is setting up a studio at home. She’s has been appraised and amazed she has been given the opportunity to show the world what she is capable of, and this is only the beginning!
When asked “What do you look forward to doing at Māpura in the future?” Avtar says, “Being there as long as possible because the people who work there and the students are an amazing bunch of people which has become a huge reason for Avtar not ever wanting to leave”
