A Thousand Stories.
An Art Auction to Change Lives.
With John Gow &
Gow Langsford Gallery
on behalf of Māpura Studios
Māpura Studios is a small charity with a big impact on the health and well being of those less fortunate than ourselves. What we do using the power of creativity in all its forms, really does make a huge difference to the lives of the people we work with.
We held our event A Thousand Stories: an Art Auction to Change Lives, and managed to raise $100,000. Everyone who comes to Māpura has a story and they are all special. With many, many thanks, this was made possible by:
- John Gow and staff from Gow Langsford Gallery
- Craig & the Rotary Clubs of Epsom and Mt Eden
- Pene and Giltrap Audi
- Ben Plumley – auctioneer
- Iain Cheeseman
Many others behind the scenes – too many to name
Artists who have put work forward for the auction
But most of all, thanks to everyone who has come to this event and particularly to those of you who have purchased art.
Your purchases will indeed help us to change people’s lives through the power of creativity.
